5/2/2011 - Quick Post and Multi-Post have been reconfigured to accommodate a cut and paste effect which is very similar to Cut and Paste mode.   We are aware that if you make changes on the Quick Post page that Step 2 won't work unless you close the window down after changes and click on step two again.  We are working on fixing this and should have it fully functional within the next 24-48 hours.  Thank you. 

4/22/2011 - IMPORTANT:  Regarding Posting to Craigslist:

On 4/21/2011, Craigslist made some changes to how things are posted.  The Quick Post & Multi-Post NOT operable (for now).  We have already had a conference with our technicians and have some Work-arounds.  For now please use Cut and Paste Mode in your Manage Ads Page. 

Once updated to Cut / Paste mode click OK then click on Craigslist beside the item you wish to post as usual.  Go to Step 2 to copy the code then in a NEW window go to https://post.craigslist.org/ (You may want to save this to your favorites for now) and walk through the posting process until you see a blank Title and Description field.

IMPORTANT:  Place your mouse in the DESCRIPTION FIELD (NOT the TITLE FIELD) and paste the Code from Step 2 above.  Proceed to Type your title in the Title field and location then continue to preview your ad on Craigslist then Continue once more until you have entered the Weird Letter Code box code successfully.  Then repeat the process. 

We are working on an improved method but undertand that these changes with Craigslist happened less than 24 hours ago.  We should have some news updates tomorrow so be sure to check back on this page.  Thanks you for your patience during this transition.

2/15/2011 - Please be sure to renew any ads that have expired so that they do not get purged from the system.  This is a repeat of the announcement that was placed on 9/2/2010 (see below).  If you have not renewed existing expired it is possible that many of your expired ads would have or will be purged from the system. 

2/4/2011 - Well it is Official.  BuyOP.com has changed it's name to SellFaster.com.  As you may have noticed a while back you started to see the SellFaster.com logo on a lot of our system that you use to help sell your items faster.  It was only a natural transition to change the name even though we have gone by the name BuyOP.com for years.  You will notice a gradual phasing out of the BuyOP logos and replacement with the SellFaster logos as we complete this transition.

We are still under the SAME OWNERSHIP and on your credit card statements you will still see a charge as usual from BuyOP.com.

IMPORTANT: 

ADS NOT SHOWING UP ON CRAIGSLIST?  (READ BELOW)

1.  Avoid using EXCESSIVE CAPS and !@#$%^&*()_<>?! in your descriptions and titles.  I would recommend NOT using any kind of symbols in the Title itself as it can hang up the Craigslist posting process.

2.  Do not use a text form of your phone number and address in your ads but rely on the banner and a graphic which has your phone number/address on it to do the talking for you.  We can create and host these for a One Time fee of $25 and they help your have a better showing on Craigslist.

3.  Stick with one City (major market preferrably close-by) and whatever city you choose be sure in your Craigslist settings that you specify the City you will using as your primary City. 

4.  Delete older Craigslist Ads BEFORE posting New Ads.  For instance if you post a Ford F-150 on Monday and Wednesday and Friday.  Be sure to delete Monday's Posting from Your Craigslist Account BEFORE committing / posting Fridays ads. 

5.  Don't try to use Multiple Craigslist Accounts to post your items as Craigslist is a multi-million dollar company and they have the technology to know when you are doing this and will ghost your ads most times.  If not right away, it will eventually catch up with you.

When in doubt, play by the Craigslist rules.
